I want to Earn £60,000 a Year, At Least.

I was laughed at the other day for saying that I wanted to make at least £60,000 a year. Why? I’m not too sure, but in my mind it is because I have aspirations in life and the person who laughed at me doesn’t

Aim for Something

If you aim for something, you are much more likely to achieve it, even if it isn’t exactly what you were aiming for, I guarantee you would be further along in life than if you didn’t aim for anything.

Why Set Targets Like This?

I like to set targets like the one above as it gives me something to dream about, and it gives me something to believe in. This is why I tell people of my aspirations, if you tell people, you have more chance of achieving them. You don’t want to see that person in another 10 years and they ask you about your goal and you haven’t achieved it. If in your head you know people want you to fail, come on, I’m sure the person who I told the above to would never want me to do so, because then she would feel bad about him/her self, you are much more likely to strive and prove them wrong. As much as we like to pretend it isn’t true, the amount people influence us is unbelievable. I wouldn’t be doing any of this if people hadn’t doubted me. Sad but true. And I bet you are the same (If not, feel free to tell me your reasons in the comments section).

So, My Target…

I can’t say I have that much of a plan of how to make the money at this point. I’m still at that point in my life where I’m trying to decide what I want to do. I have brief ideas, but I definitely don’t know where I will be heading when I have finished my studies. I know straight after leaving university I won’t be able to come near to my target, but I haven’t set a deadline, so I’m ok for a while now!

This is where I am going wrong. You need to stay positive about your targets, strive to achieve them as soon as possible. Instead of saying what I did in the previous paragraph, I should be talking about my plan on how I will be making that money, and so should you! Lets this about it… I could get half from a proper job and half from working online? I’ll work it out don’t worry.

What You Need to Do.

Stay confident so that you can set targets which you know are going to be achievable, but which will also push you to the edge, you need to challenge yourself, this way you will feel motivated every step you take, there will be many steps so we need to stay on top of our game all the time.  Even if you don’t meet your target, remember how aspiring you were and remember that you tried your best, achievement doesn’t have to be being the best, and it can be about you being your best. You judge your mind, so don’t let others judge it too.
