Make the Money Back… Before it Hurts

I hate spending money if I know that it won’t be making me any money back. It sounds kind of extreme, but watching my bank balance go down really seems to get into my head and annoys me. Because of this I have to make sure that I make the money back as soon as I can. If I don’t, it will bother me for weeks.

The main purpose of this post is so you learn a bit more about me; learn about what goes through my head. Why you ask? Because then you can get more of an insight of me, why I think how I do and hopefully I can then give out more tips. Also, if you stay reading, you might actually get some business tips…

Making My Money Back

So back onto the post. I need to make my money back before my head explodes! As I haven’t got much time at the moment, due to a lot of work, I need a way to make some money without having to put any work in. The answer? eBay. Quick, simple and no work on my part, well apart from packaging some items up at the end of the week, so all in all the best thing to do.

I have added about eight items to my eBay and hopefully they will sell over the week and make back some of the money that I spent last week, if they don’t, I’ll have to take another course of action.

So, The Business Tip From This Quirky Post?

What can we actually learn from this then? Well first things first… If you run a business you will always need to cover your costs as if you don’t, you are making a loss, which is obviously very bad.

What I am trying to put across in this post is that you need to have the same kind of mentality as I do, maybe not as extreme, but you need to always be thinking about how you will be making the money back that you have spent. You need to be thinking about this because it will make you more careful in what you spend and therefore it will lessen the risks you are taking and also lessen the chance that you have of failure. As well as this, it allows you to plan ahead and in business a plan can be one of the most important aspects. If you know what you are doing, you know whether you are going to success of not.
