Making a Betting Websites: Betting Niche Story

This is a new series of posts where I will be working through making my own betting niche websites and then trying to earn a decent amount of money from it. How This Started

I’ve never really been a big gambler, but I do like taking a risk. About 4 months ago I signed up for a couple of betting accounts just to get the free bets, and I happened to win quite big on a few of my bets, this then led to me doing quite a bit of roulette and still winning.

Now this story isn’t about me winning money. I hardly play, but what I did realise was just how much money there is in online gambling, and not just for the companies taking it off their punters.

Commission for Referrers

I signed up to get the free £25 bet by using a friend’s sign up code. By doing this he pretty much instantly got a free £25 credited to his account, which he could do what he wants with. Obviously they believe that most people will bet it, and lose it, meaning they haven’t lost out on any profit. Or alternatively they will make more money off the person who signed up using the free bet. Either way, they normally end out top.

However, if you play sensible and bring in lots of customers to the betting websites, you can earn yourself quite a bit of money. Many people know about this, but there are a lot more who can take advantage of it.

Break Into

Another problem is that there are already a lot of websites out there which provide links to gambling websites offering a free bet. Most of these websites are giving tips on how to gamble and what to bet on. As with all websites nowadays, to get into the market and make some money, you need to go in on a certain niche, which is what I will be attempting to do.
