My Objectives for the Month – July

A new series here on Profit Duck as I would like to bring some consistency to the site and make it so that my readers (you!) know what will be happening on the blog.

What’s Happening Then?

Each month I will be thinking of some objectives which will need to meet by the end of the month, I will post them up and then obviously try and complete them. I’m doing this so I have more of a target each month and also because I believe setting yourself objectives works well and improves efficiency. If you would like to read more about why objectives are important, please take a lot at my post ‘Set Yourself Objectives to Reach Your Overall Goals’.

During the month I will update the objectives page and make sure that I cross out what I have achieved. I’ll have to work out a punishment for not meeting my objectives; ideas are welcomed in the comments section!

Anyway, on to the objectives:

Start posting more on the Business Forums

Why – I love joining in with the conversations; just haven’t had time at the moment. It also helps get my name out there, which is something you need to do in the world of business! As well as this it gives me more opportunities to learn about business.

Post another 10 articles by the end of the month (6 to go)

Why – It’s been slow around here lately, due to my other commitments. Posting some more articles will get me back into the wing of things and lead to even greater gains for the website next month.

Add a definitions section to the website

Why – I’ve had this planned out for a while now, so its time to actually get it done. I will be adding a definitions section which will give a definition of business terms and then give examples, hopefully to allow people to learn and make sure they know what words actually mean in real life.

Use social media more – More Twitter updates, Digging and Stumbling

Why – This is another way of getting my name out there, so I need to make sure I concentrate on it more.
