The Blogging Break Conundrum

I sit here today after having quite a long break from the blogging gig. When I say quite a long break, I mean a long one; the last post was in April. Since then I just haven’t had the energy, desire or drive to do a blog post or to really do anything with my current websites.

But is this really such a bad thing?

We all need a break sometimes. In a job you knock off at a certain time and then go home and relax, and at this stage this is what I want, at 5 everyday I would like to sit back and relax, and this is exactly what I have been doing for the last couple of months.

Blogging on the other hand means that once you have finished your main work, you have to start doing some more work. Its not that I don’t enjoy blogging, I love it when I get into the flow of it, the problem is finding that flow and discovering what kept me interested again.

I sit here today after having quite a long break from the blogging gig. I sit here today with a new blueprint, a new discovery of why I enjoyed it in the first place.

Obviously this isn’t the same for everyone, everybody approaches blogging in a different way, but to keep in line with some of my new plans, I want to portray how I feel more, instead of just giving generic money making and business tips

Finding Your Drive

As well as helping friend my drive again, a break allows you to come up with more ideas, come up with new ways to interest the reader, with new ideas and ways to show these ideas. The more drive you have, the better the content and therefore the more likely you will be exposed to a greater volume of readers

Its you who makes a blog, its me who makes this blog, so improving yourself is the first step to improving your blog.
